Past Performance

The Baseball Handicapper believes that it is in your best interest for a handicapper to not only disclose their actual win, loss, and units of profit record, but to reveal each one of their Best Bets right after the start of a game. This is the only way to instill confidence in our record to prove that our stated records are legitimate. Unfortunately it is too easy for many touts in our industry to post less-than honest win/loss/unit records. If you refresh this page 15 minutes after the start of one of our Best Bet games, you will see the game displayed below at the bottom of the grid showing “Pending” under the Pick Result column. When the game is over, we will update the score and results. Visit this page often and you will see that our records and Best Bets are legit.

If you read "About Us", you know 2010 was the first year that The Baseball Handicapper offered Best Bets to the betting public.

The results above for the years 2005 thru 2007 were actual results when our Handicapper was forecasting and executing Baseball selections for a Sports Betting Syndicate. Despite being profitable on baseball every year, this Syndicate disbanded in 2007 due to its inability to be consistently profitable on football and basketball.

The results for 2008 and 2009 were actual results of releases given to a select private following of The Baseball Handicapper

As Baseball is a sport where you wager against a money line, the Win/Loss record becomes meaningless and in fact can be misleading.  If you play many underdogs it is very possible to have a Win/Loss record below 50% and still show a profit.  In fact, this was the case our Handicapper in years 2005 thru 2007.  The opposite is also true.  If one wagers on many large favorites it is very easy to have a Win/Loss record well above 50% and still lose money.  It is for this reason the win loss record is not posted for our Prior Years’ Results.
